| Freshers Course |
This 5 day course is specifically designed to alleviate your concerns over ‘joining the sailing set’ it’s designed for the absolute beginner or if you’ve been off the water for some time.
In a very relaxed environment you will familiarise yourself with life on a boat, tackle the complexities of tasks such as how the toilet works and learn the real name for the pointy end of a yacht. You will not be taking any exams, but you will be guided by a qualified sailing instructor, they will there to help you all you want.
We are confident that by joining our Freshers Course you will quickly realise that basic sailing is easy and fun.
During your 5 days you will:
- familiarised yourself with the Yacht and the terminology used
- practice a safety at sea procedure
- take part in activities such as mooring, steering and navigation
- cruise around various navigational points on the Solent
- meet instructors and discuss the elements of the Professional Crew programme
- learn the history of sailing and race events
- enjoy overnight stops in world famous marinas

The price is just £425 which includes; accommodation, meals on board, safety equipment and waterproof clothing
